Sunrise at Devils Marbles & Sunset at Simpsons Gap

Dated: 19 March 2025

After capturing the magic of dawn, we return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast before checking out and making our way back to Alice Springs. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch before checking into our accommodation for the next two nights.

In the late afternoon, we set off to Simpsons Gap, a stunning natural gorge in the West MacDonnell Ranges, for our sunset photography session. This location offers dramatic rock faces, riverbeds, and often sightings of black-footed rock wallabies, providing a perfect mix of landscape and wildlife photography opportunities.

After sunset, we return to Alice Springs for dinner, where we can unwind, review the day's shots, and prepare for the following day before retiring for the evening.
