Documenting Wedge Tail Eagle babies

Dated: 3 November 2015

For the last 2 months I have been visiting a large nest on private property with 2 baby Wedgies spending a short amount of time at the nest once a week photographing them. They are now about 10 weeks old and the larger one is almost ready to leave the nest. They are amazing birds and have such a gentle relaxed persona. They are used to seeing me and know I am no threat to them and pretty much ignore me or just watch me taking photos. The parent birds are good providers and both young and going to make it to maturity. I have not spotted the parents at all as they are always away hunting for food.
