Photographing the Sturt Desert Peas

Dated: 3 November 2015

Well this year has been a good season for the Sturt Pea and has been flowering prolifically in many places in outback South Australia. Over several weeks I was on the hunt for the stunning flower and made it my special project for about a 6 weeks or so visiting several locations at different times in varying light. I now have a great collection of images that I am really proud of and will be starting a gallery just for all the images I have take across the outback of these flowers. They are not the easiest of subjects to photograph well but by trying different compositions and lenses it really was fun and challenging. Check out the gallery for these amazing flowers.
