What an incredible tour. My first visit to the Red Centre and my first photo tour with Julie as mentor and guide. The itinerary is awesome, covering a wide range of amazing locations from the Devil’s Marbles to Uluru and everything in-between.
Nothing is rushed – giving us plenty time at each venue to try out as many different shots, angles, etc as we like. But it is a full on itinerary – there’s not much sitting around in your hotel room. It’s photography all the way.
The icing on the cake was the stunning chopper flight over Uluru on the final morning.
Julie’s experience meant that we got to the busier locations way before the crowds and always when the light is ideal for that location. With only four guests on this trip it really is “small group” allowing for plenty one-on-one with her. Julie is truly excellent at assessing exactly where each of us is individually in our photography skills and then guiding and challenging us to get to the next level. These really are photography workshops and I got so much out of it.
On top of all that we had lots of great laughs along the way, some great meals and wonderful memories.
If you’ve never been on a photo tour before and thinking of doing one – then just book this one. It’ll give you an unforgettable experience.
