What an Experience!! I’ve been a fan of Julie Fletcher Photography for some time, To photograph the amazing timeless landscape of the Flinders Ranges with Julie Fletcher was simply awe inspiring. Julie’s passion and drive for her craft is second to none and she shared this with the group throughout the tour. I found being a small group it was a more personal experience, a relaxed atmosphere where Julie encouraged us to open our minds to new and exciting photo opportunities. She spent 1 on 1 time with us all answering all our questions and helping us along. Learning from a master and each other.
Our accommodation was excellent, We each had our own rooms which we could retreat to anytime. I particularly enjoyed the common areas where everyone mingled and chatted, talked photography, had a few laughs and friendships made.
I personally have walked away from this tour with bucket loads of inspiration and drive to take my own photography to another level. I’ve had a fantastic experience that will stay with me a very long time. Thankyou Julie, I will definitely be back for another tour in the near future.

Channel Country, Outback Queensland – Colours, Patterns and Perspective The Channel Country in outback Queensland is one of Australia’s most quietly powerful photographic landscapes. Shaped by extreme cycles of drought and flood, it’s a place where subtlety matters — where colour, pattern and light do the heavy lifting rather than obvious landmarks. For landscape photographers, […]
Another year for me judging the Wilderness Photographer of the Year — and wow, the standard was incredible, especially in the Nature category. I spent a long time deliberating over the final 15 images across the three categories, and the talent this year made it no easy task. This competition is a fantastic one to […]
