I have left Marree after 9 days, took a flight over Lake Eyre what a magic experience 2 hrs of watching 600kms of colour, shapes and major rivers on our flight around north and south Lake Eyre. A few days later I met Julie Fletcher Marree’s photographer extraordinaire I was lucky to do a 3 day photography workshop with her, where she took me to some of her amazing secret locations including on the shores of Lake Eyre south as well a few other hidden gems, thoroughly enjoyed it picking up a lot of handy tips on taking better photos. If you’re interested in photography workshop would highly recommend Julie.

I am happy to be on the judging panel again this year. This is my fourth year being part of this competition. I really enjoy looking at the variety of photos and places people visit. Good luck to everyone. Happy hiking and camping!
